- Demonstrate clinical expertise in nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and advanced proficiency in technical skills necessary for developing, providing, and coordinating care to patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
- Assist surgeons during operations.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
- Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
- Associate's Degree
- Current Georgia RN license
- 1 to 2 years of home health experience or 2 years clinical experience but not in home health (i.e. Med surg, ER, ICU.
- Must be familiar with general use and functions of the compute
- Current CPR
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other funding source regulations as applied to home health care services
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in advanced practice nursing skills, including the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to Travel
- Must have valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation
